     PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Alamance County Board of Commissioners will hold its first regular monthly meeting on Monday, June 2, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. in the Williams High School Auditorium in Burlington, NC. This is a change in location and time from the normal meeting time of 9:00 a.m.

*    The Board of Commissioners for the County of Alamance will hold its second regular monthly meeting on Monday, June 16, 2014, at 9:00 a.m. in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room of the County Office Building, located at 124 West Elm Street, Graham, NC. This is a change in time from the normal meeting time of 7:00 p.m.

The County of Alamance budget for FY 2014-2015 has been submitted to the Board of County Commissioners. A public hearing on the proposed budget ordinance in accordance with N.C.G.S. 159-12 will be held on Monday, June 2, 2014 at 7:00 pm, in the Williams High School Auditorium in Burlington, NC for the purpose of hearing comments from the public.

The proposed budget ordinance is available for inspection from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm in the offices of the Clerk to the Board, the Finance Officer, and on the Alamance County website: www.alamance-nc.com where it shall remain available until the budget ordinance is adopted.

All interested citizens, groups, senior citizens and organizations representing the interest of county citizens are encouraged to attend and submit comments.

That the Alamance County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Monday, April 21, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room located on the 2^nd Floor of the County Office Building, 124 West Elm St., Graham, NC 27253.

The purpose of this hearing is to hear a proposal on the Alamance-Guilford County Boundary Line Adjustment pursuant to S.L. 2013-68; and receive public comments from property owners that will be affected.

COUNTY OF ALAMANCE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE the Alamance County Board of Commissioners, will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, April 7, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room, 2^nd floor of the County Office Building, 124 W. Elm St., Graham, NC.  The purpose of the meeting will be to receive comments on a proposal to extend economic development incentives to Cambro Manufacturing for the creation of approximately 100 full-time jobs and a minimum taxable investment of $33.9 million for building and equipment.  The proposed incentives offer is $678,000 to be paid over 5 years.

The Budget Committee of the Alamance County Board of Commissioners will meet on the following dates: Tuesday, March 25^th at 10:00am, and Monday, April 7, 2014 at 11:00 am and Monday, April 14^th at 11:30am. The meetings will be held in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room located on the 2nd floor of the County Office Building, 124 West Elm Street. The purpose of the meetings will be to hear budget requests from outside agencies and review the amended preliminary budget for all departments and outside agencies for fiscal year 2014-15 budget.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE due to impending inclement weather the Alamance County Board of Commissioners’ regularly scheduled meeting for Monday, March 17, 2014 has been cancelled. The regularly scheduled meeting has been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. All items will be transferred to this agenda.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that there will be a training session for the Alamance County Board of Commissioners on Monday, March 17, 2014 at 5:30 pm in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room.  This is not an official meeting of the board.

The Budget Committee of the Alamance County Board of Commissioners will meet on the following dates: March 3^rd at 11:00am, March 4^th at 10:00am, Monday, March 10^th at 10:00am; Wednesday, March 12^th at 10:00am; and Friday, March 14^th at 10:00am. The meetings will be held in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room located on the 2nd floor of the County Office Building, 124 West Elm Street. The purpose of the meetings will be to hear departmental budget request for fiscal year 2014-15 budget.
